During the development of the DV MARK NEO GOLD 12-inch speaker the focus was on hard rock and metal sounds. But this speaker is suitable for other styles too, as Eric Gales shows us with his EGC RAW DAWG 60 Signature Combo. Here the DV MARK NEO GOLD is also in use.
The DV MARK NEO GOLD speaker offers a solid tone with large headroom and dynamics. Paired with a assertive sound, thanks to strong emphasised overtones, as well as bass and mid frequencies.
Thanks to the DV NEO GOLD speakers, the cabinet is an incredible 24.91 lbs / 11.3 kg light. With the high power handling of 300 watts, almost any amp can be connected perfectly.
Due to the better sound distribution (slant-top / split-stack), the DV GOLD 212V has an outstanding performance when used in smaller locations and at short distances to the cabinet!

The DV MARK GOLD 12-inch speaker is ideal for sounds where overtones, bass and mid-range frequencies should be supported for a solid sound with large headroom and dynamics. Therefore, this speaker is also well suited for hard rock and metal sounds.
The slant of the top speaker in the 2 x 12" vertical design of the DV GOLD 212V allows to spread out more the sound than with the more common flat-front 2 x 12 cabs and to maintain the low-end you get from keeping the cabinet on the floor, but also keeps one speaker aimed at ear-level for onstage clarity of the mids and highs.
The extremely high load capacity of 300 watts offers high reserves and an extended limit range where other 2 x 12″ cabinets have long since come to an end.
The impressively low weight of 24.91 lbs / 11.3 kg with a 2 x12″ format is a novelty for guitarists. Anyone who has lifted this cabinet (without a clue) is completely smitten but also confused, and wonders how does it work? Why have I lugged so much over the last few years?
